A new double album by Gavin Baker of Billy Mahonie.
Recorded in Kongsberg, Norway, in April 2011, 'Dirge' is made up of tunes which are mostly a few years old, sometimes a bit improvised and occasionally lengthy. 'Misry' is newer, shorter songs, some almost fragments, less improvised. A great contrast.
